Washing & Cleaning

- At home : If you opt for a home wash, wash the room only by hand and in cold or lukewarm water (maximum 30°C). Use a mild detergent for woolens or delicate fabrics.

Drying & Ironing
- Drying: Gently squeeze out excess water from the garment without twisting it. Hang it on a wide hanger and let it air dry, away from direct sunlight to protect the intensity of the burgundy color.
- Ironing : Iron the gandoura on the reverse side at low or medium temperature (silk/wool setting). For embroidery and the Sfifa For the collar, always place a damp cloth (a thin cotton cloth) between the iron and the garment to avoid shining the trimmings.
Storage & Organization (Canadian Winter Special)
- On a daily basis: Hang your gandoura on a padded or wide wooden hanger to avoid distorting the line of the dropped shoulders (Makhzani).
- During the off-season: When the cold season ends, store your clean room in a breathable fabric cover (avoid plastic). Place a sachet of lavender or a block of natural cedar inside to protect the cashmere finish from moths.
